New Subway-esque Signs from Flying Junction

20 Aug

Do you remember those awesome subway signs I told you about from Flying Junction? Well, the fabulous designer, Ace Harrison, has added a few new designs to his Brooklyn collection. This time, he brought Brooklyn together with two other New York boroughs, Manhattan and Queens. A peace offering perhaps? Check out the designs below, and make sure to visit the Flying Junction Etsy shop.

Ok, now we’re fighting.

I recently posted an Etsy print of a hate note from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Well, Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York shows us designer James Campbell Taylor’s response. Too far Manhattan, too far.

Dear Manhattan…

The Fourth Floor Print Shop is taking a little jab at Manhattan with this “Dear Manhattan, Sincerely Brooklyn Poster”– and I like it! It was screen printed by hand in Brooklyn (obviously) and goes for $28 on Etsy. A special thanks does out to Twitter friend @mattmaison for letting Becoming Brooklyn know about it.

Jealous?

If you haven’t been to the Promenade yet, start walking (driving, flying, biking) over there now. My apartment sits just two blocks away, and it’s the most amazing views of Downtown Manhattan. Apparently it’s a hot date spot too, as it seems everyone is making out down there. For non make out-ers, it’s also great place for jogging and biking.
