You may have read that I was at the Bed-Stuy Crawl this weekend. It was a tour of some of Bed-Stuy’s most awesome spots, The Bar at Peaches, Beso, Olivino, and Therapy Wine Bar. I’m going to be honest with you. I had never been to Bed-Stuy before the crawl. I didn’t know what to expect, but the neighborhood typically gets a bad rap, so I wasn’t sure what I would think.
After the crawl: I’m impressed. The Bar at Peaches was the kind of place you want to be a regular at. It had a Brooklyn-filled beer list, a comfortable vibe, and a small outdoor space, perfect for an afternoon day drink. Want some guac and a fish taco? Go to Beso, the next spot on the crawl. It paired well with the mango margaritas, and the plain margaritas…
THEN there’s Olivino. this charming wine shop was on their game with our wine tasting. Three wines, all paired with cheese. Who can resist a sparkling rose when it’s nice out? Clearly not me. Finally, Therapy Wine Bar. Big statement coming up: One of the best outdoor setups in Brooklyn. I enjoyed my Malbec on the outdoor patio, and fell in love with the adorable space.
Make sure to get on the next Bed-Stuy Crawl… it’s so worth it. Thanks Alisha, Nicole, and Clay for being wonderful hosts.
PS. I even won a prize during the crawl… more details to come.

It was nice meeting you. Hope to see you in our neck of the woods soon. Remember to check out the pizza at Saraghina. They’ve got a good brunch, too.
So nice meeting you too! I will. Can’t wait.
